Alliance Française de Bristol is showing:
Le nom des gens: A comedy against preconceived ideas ( les préjugés) by Michel Leclerc with Jacques Gamblin and Sara Forestier who won the César for best actress in this film ( César de la meilleure actrice). And the cherry on the cake ( la cerise sur le gâteau), Lionel Jospin, ex Prime Minister,  appears in the film, playing his own part ( son propre rôle).

She is very active in politics…. after a fashion: she sleeps with her enemies to make them change their political ideas! He is frightened of everything ( un peu coincé). But when they meet, everything changes…..

The cineclub is open to all students learning French with Alliance Française de Bristol but also to anyone with an interest in the French language. The film has subtitles in English.
Arrive early to get a drink in the pub before the film starts.
